Still cannot figure out how to see posts in this forum. Did set 26 silkie eggs, it's lockdown day!!! wish I could talk to you all

I have always wondered what a showgirl was and the difference between them and regular silkies lol

Thank you Pyxis and Uglyfoot!! That helps. But I'm also still wondering what the difference between a Sizzle and a Frilkie. Is it just which parent is the Frizzled one?

A frilkie is a silkie that is frizzled. A sizzle is a silkie/cochin cross and can be frizzled or smooth.

Just locked my eggs down, 10 Brahma and 6 polish all looking good. One of the Brahma looks to have internally pipped or just about to pop through the membrane :/ Seems a tad early to me for a LF egg but the chick was very active.

I also peeked at the dinosaur goose eggs and 2/3 still look good and active
The third is certainly a non starter so I have removed it.

I'm stuck at work for a few more hours. I'll lock down once I get home! I have all bantam eggs in there, so I hope I don't find any chicks getting tossed around. I didn't plan well for this hatch.....

Locked Down Have 16 eggs left. Also can my little hen count as she just hatched out 3 little chicks I do not know the timeline but she tried to get in the Easter Egg Hatch., I put her in a pen by herself. I just took the picture about 10 minutes ago.
