Breed to a black or to a white from a paint breeding. Some people breed to regular, recessive white birds with good results. I am afraid that may come back to bite them in a generation or two.I have 4 paint chicks. I have been reading this thread, still have 105 pages to go. I have a question about what color you are to breed your paint with; black or white or should you just use a pure black? I have been reading more people have been breeding with black. So I am curious can you use white?
What is it that leaves you unimpressed? Structure, color, markings?I have a few paint from both paint parents. Not so impressed....
