The Fight

(Can he be by Wes?)
Eli flinched slightly as he heard a piercing whistle. Zero froze and cocked her head at him quizzically. Eli shook his head ever so slightly, but remained alert, there had to be someone close by, he knew. But no matter how hard he strained his ears, he couldn't hear anything else. An ambush in his condition would be unwelcome. He clenched his fist slightly and calmed his racing mind but he remained tense and ready for action. Cautiously, he set off.

(Sure!)

Wes walked at a brisk pace and Dani jogged alongside him. He looked around; making sure there wasn't anyone following him and getting ready to ambush him for what little he had. Dani trotted up about 20 feet ahead. "What is it, girl?" Wes asked as Dani started quietly whimpering. He looked around once more but kept walking. Dani followed but was still wary and looked back a few more times.

(I have to go. ;( Phone is almost dead. I will be on again in about an hour.)

(e.o okay.)
Eli's feet fell lightly on the rocky, uneven ground, making sure to watch carefully for any points of ambush. Zero froze, her hackles rising she growled softly Eli dropped back level with her and carefully, silently scaled a near by tree. Something didn't feel right, he didn't feel good about leaving Zero down there but he'd do anything to help her. He scanned the ground but the thick canopy was blocking his view.

Wes had to practically drag Dani along the trail. She kept perking her ears and whining. Wes knew something was up, whether it was wildlife or other people. He hope it would be a few rabbits or even a small deer that he could kil to eat. He climbed a tree that was about 35 feet tall and scouted out for the big tree he saw before. He guessed they were about a mile or so from it. Wes jumped back down and started walking again, this time, Dani followed.

Eli slipped down the tree like a ghost Zero had stopped growling but she was still looking defiantly in a direction. He decided to go the opposite direction, maybe see if there was anything at the small creek he had found. He set off, wondering if he was getting too paranoid.

(Btw guys, your characters can attack others. you don't have to ask the other rper, but you can't seriously injure/kill someone's character without perm.)

Dani finally followed willingly but still looked back every once in a while. Wes stopped at a large rock and sat. He took his canteen out and sipped a little. Wes pored some water into the lid and offered it to Dani; she lapped it up. He put the cap back on and tossed the canteen into the bag; it was almost empty. "Come on, Dani." He said softly and kept walking.

Caitlynn noticed that Fudge had stopped purring. He got off her lap and started sniffing in one direction. And then she heard it: A male voice, and... A dog? She guessed. She moved quietly through the trees, stopping when she looked below, seeing a small path, and a boy, probably quite a few years older than her(Wes). She quickly ducked behind the trees trunk, out of sight.
