No. This will truly be a learning experience. I've done big game before, but my biggest issues are figuring how to get the pig from the ground into the tub and then hung so I can dress it.

Sounds like at least one other pair of hands would be really helpful. Is there anyone close by that would help out, maybe in exchange for a bit of the pork?

Smart waiting for a bit cooler weather. Wish I could loan you some of my cooler weather...our high is only going to be in the low 60's today (and night down in the 30's).
