Violet Laced Wyandotte. Absolutely stunning birds, but will need to work the mahogany out with further breeding.

This is my 3 month old Sl/W x EE cockeral Cricket. I have no idea where the blue came from. Maybe the EE? Dad... Mom..

Also, the reason why there is blue in your mixed cockeral, is because the EE looks splash. So it carries a blue gene. Giving a sort of violate laced silver mixed bird. Of course with the splashes of other colors that EE carry

Peaches is actually a peach and white EE, but she does have a little gray or blue in her head feathers, which makes her look dirty all the time

Splash gives all sorts of shades. But the peachy and red. Is an EE thing.

I'm wondering if crickets blue will turn black. This is his hatch mate and full sister Pickles. Same parents. I think she is going to turn black laced. She looks blue right now. I thought she was full SL/W until I saw her beard. (The cochin is their surrogate mom)

I do not think she will darken, Sorry. She is pretty though.

I would prefer it stay blue, my silver laced hens started out a little bit light as chicks and are all black and white now. So time will tell I guess.
