I just hatched some barnyard mixes although some of them could be pure SLW since my roo is a SLW and two of my hens are SLWs. Could someone post some chick pics?

What lovely pictures! I just got a decent camera, and my first SLW chicks hatched this weekend. I'm pretty sure these two were pure. The smaller guy didn't make it. He had a rough hatch.

good looking chicks. what lines are they from. mine are ownley hatchery chickens so not expecting much but some will be pretty nice.

Type, lacing and comb are at the top of my list.
Foley's are pretty well sought after in the states.

is it true that silver laced Wyandotte feathers can 'bleach' from being in the sun all day? I have just been told this by a breeder.
my rooster neck feathers have gone all yellow!
