I did french toast here this morning
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
blob of vanilla
Mix well
cast iron griddle, butter and syrup.

German Pancakes!

7 eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 cup flour
Pinch salt
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla

2 tbsp butter for pan

Bake at 375 in preheated pan/oven. Cast iron works great. Add butter to hot pan and sizzle until melted. Add batter and bake for 22 or so minutes. The key is a very hot pan and oven to build the steam for it to rise.

I eat it with cinnamon sugar sprinkled and homemade Chantilly cream.

My dad used to love 'egg pie'. I tried making it once and it was delicious. Basically a very thick egg nog that is cooked to firmness in a pie shell.

Now I want some... Wish I had the ingredients!

2 slices of cooper sharp american cheese
