Too Much Baytril

The dose for a 2.5 pound hen should be 10-15 mg/kg twice a day or 20 mg/kg once a day.
The 0.05ml dose is not enough, you need to give more.

Math:
10 mg/kg - 2.5 / 2.2 x 10 / 100 = 0.11 ml twice a day
15 mg/kg - 2.5 / 2.2 x 15 / 100 = 0.17 ml twice a day
20 mg/kg 2.5 / 2.2 x 20 / 100 = 0.23 ml once a day
Thank you so much. I will be sure she gets the correct amount.

Can you get denagard and treat the flock? My dose on baytril orally is 0.10 per lb 2x a day 5-7 days
I do have denagard but right now she is the only one showing symptoms and has been isolated from the flock as she was broody and now has a chick with her. i don't want the chick taking an antibiotic unless it needs to, i have been monitoring the chick closely.
