my chickens are fine but the turkeys poults get it. lost 1/3rd of the poults the first year I hatched. Have to give a strong does to keep them alive
Sorry for your losses. Have you considered getting some toltrazuril(Baycox)? That stuff is amazing!

trying to be organic, had to lose a few before I would even try the corid. I found it needed to be the severe does for a month or more for whatever strain I have.

umm appears it's not for birds to be eaten

strong doses of corid does work, didn't lose any to this last year, just losses to stupid suicides
 
Is there something you can use when i clean my 12X12 concrete floor with rubber mats that will help kill Cocci in the barn? We have a dusting of lime under pine shavings over it. We cant let the chickens out because of Bobcats, Coons, Hawks. They have a plush room that is very ventilated but predictor proof. Rats do sneak through tho!

In areas that are bare dirt or sand and inside the metal brooder coop on concrete I use a pear burner or weed torch to kill cocci and worm eggs. It can be a slow process but if you heat up the concrete or dirt hot enough you can kill everything even below the surface of the dirt. I also clean up a lot of those little fluffy feathers a rake leaves behind.
