TY so much for this thread, I have a hen in the exaact same situation with a swollen foot who will not put weight on it and does not appear to be bumble foot. I'll be watching for an update on your chickie!

another rooster attacked him. Tore out all of the feathers and dig out flesh from under his wing. Did something to his legs too. There is two bungee cords crisscrossing underneath to support his chest and belly and he’s not in it all the time. His legs won’t hold up his own weight and sometimes he has a hard time holding up his head. I’m getting rid of all my roosters.

I put her in a sling and now have her wrapped - legs together because all she does is sit now. She eats, drinks and poops all the time. should she be in a sling chair more often I wonder?
