My "farm" 13 acres in the country is sadly just a refuge for rabbits lizzards kangaroo and an occasional echidna, snake and sometimes neighbours sheep. ... No water supply or fencing up there yet- But my backyard in the city is overrun with ducks, Quail and a galah.

We have:
19 adult chickens, 11 juvinile chickens and 14 chicks.
6 cows and my mother-in-laws 14 with them
roll.png

3 dogs
5 horses

some day in the near future we'll have:
turkeys and runner ducks... and maybe red golden pheasants
DH is also working hard to talk me into a jersey milk cow

Chickens

Pine and hardwood trees

one gelding horse--- being that he is a gelding I don't think that qualifies as raising, but we feed him twice daily.

As of now

18 Adult Chickens
1 Rabbit
2 Cats
1 Dog
1 Established Beehive

*Set of bees due today
*Chicks due soon

Would Like to add
20 Hereford Momma Cows
2 Milk Cows
1 Angus Bull
A Few hogs
Geese or Ducks

But that will never happen considering we have 6 acres

Chickens, Horses and Pigs right now.

We plan to raise a Steer for meat. We only have 6 acres so can't have a lot of cattle. The pigs will be used for breeding and also for meat. The piglets will be sold and should support the care & feeding of the sows.

4-Mastiffs
2-big fish
1-DH

Next year:
12- chickens
4- Yaks
4- Mastiffs
