Hummer entry one

Not entries. More pictures of the little rescue. These are when its legs were mostly healed up - it would take a bit longer for the one leg that had been chewed up by the ants to lose its stiffness. Bird would wait impatiently for me in the mornings, perched on the ratty porch furniture. I'd put a tiny water bowl near me as I worked outside that Bird liked to bathe in, and Bird was often impatient with my rate of finding invertebrates and fruit, so it would hop into holes as I dug them and scoop up the exposed creepy crawlies before my pitiful human eyes could even see them. It was so exciting the first time Bird landed on a tree branch and managed to grip on instead of falling off.
