Nice little story!Just for reference, that’s a swallowtail.
Here’s a story and some pictures about monarch butterflies.
We had a bunch of friends over and we were in the yard doing some stuff playing with kids. The kids found a monarch caterpillar far away from milkweed. We figured it would die if we didn’t give it something to eat, so we decided to put it in a jar with a stick and some dirt, and I gave it some milkweed. It started eating immediately. Here’s a picture.

Finally, after two weeks of being a chrysalis, it turned into a beautiful male monarch butterfly.
I put it outside, and it spread its wings and flew away.

That is what a monarch caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly looks like.
you can always change one of your entries.Dang it, I should’ve entered that Chrysalis photo. Oh well, I’ve already got four entries.
you can always change one of your entries.
tag @azurbanclucker or one of them and tell them you want to exchange one of your photos for that one. Let them know which photo you don't want as an entry.OK, so how do I do that?
