I didn't make her get up to take it from her or anything, she just stood up when she saw me and she didn't react at all when I reached in so I don't think she is actually 'broody.' Even if she was, though, I don't think I'd want to let her hatch eggs just yet until she's fully recovered. She's got enough stress on her body just healing and regrowing all of those feathers. I've never had a broody before, but from what I've read the hatching takes its own toll even on a healthy hen as they hardly get up even to eat, drink, or poo.
