I like how it is straight to the point with every bird. Very helpful thank you for this post. I give it 5 stars because even though it's more of an opinion it is still insightful. Yes birds attitudes will very. But so do peoples and dogs.... just because one pitbull has a problem do all of them? And yes I used pitbull because it is a well know topic to make my point lol. All I'm saying is this article was helpful for me ( going in understanding attitudes will very bird to bird)
The article is great, but I wouldn’t put EEs on the list. They are only friendly until they 3 months old. After that they’d want nothing to do with me (other than food) and run and fight me when I’m holding them. I’d swap out their position with polish. My little polish hen still follows me everywhere. Other than that, I love all the info with all of the breeds you put up.

I bought a Blue Australorp from a hatchery here in Texas this summer! She has been the toughest of all my flock to warm up to me.
Very vague, plain break down of some easily kept breeds of chickens. However, this 'review' really lacks any in-depth information and the little that is provided isn't necessarily accurate. For example, Austrolorps in the United States are available in more than just the black coloration...there are actually breeders believe it or not. They are also renowned for being very standoffish and not overly accepting of human interaction in a close proximity.
