$200++, a few good tools and a fine weather coop

Very nice job 👏
I'm sure, by now, that your wonderful hubby is hooked on chicks too.
Such a beautiful space! I could spend forever in your idyllic little garden. I'm stuck inside right now because we have sacrificed shelter for views and the Trades are HOWLING! I'm trying to figure out how to configure things to accommodate the chickens my own SO has acquiesced to. I don't know exactly how I'll end up managing the competing concerns caused by wind and sun, but I'm super sold on your pineapple cutouts - and I don't even usually like that kind of thing! Mahalo!

Aloha fellow Hawaiian, Kamaaina or malahini,
So glad you joined in. Well, it ddi not take long for me to add more chickens, coop and run. It also did not take my chickens long to take over my garden. lol. Silly chickens. I totally love them. Looking forward to seeing what you do! :)
Beautiful setting. Breezy coop. Lucky to not have to worry about predators.
Maybe you could add an interior photo of your run and nesting roosting area at some time to make people happy.
Yes. Difficult to navigate. Frustrating.
My photos never posted in the correct order either.
Lovely job.

They seem to like it, but I am still making improvements through BYC suggestions and learning as I go. All very good fun!!!
Very nice! "Garden-magazine pretty" setting! All this article lacks is some good how-to tips so people can replicate things like the full-box-wall door and the neat pineapple cutouts!

pineapple cutouts. I folded a piece of paper in half and drew out a half pineapple (can do hearts or whatevers) cut it out , therefore having a perfectly balanced pineapple. I then slammed my two, already cut to size 1x3's (1x4's , 6's... whatevers), together and transferred the image. Then used my jigsaw to cut out design. It was a little tricky and time consuming, and would have been easier with a scroll saw forsure. I like the charm so it was worth it.
This coop is awesome and I know the hens are happy. Just wish we had more pictures of the process and more details about the inside.

I had such a hard time navigating this site. One of the more confusing ones that I have been on for sure. I must have downloaded 30 photos but kept needing to delete do to double images, not attaching in order etc. Getting a good photo was hard to do due to the tight space. I will see if I can improve my post through the edit process. Mahalo for your input and no... the chickens want to play outside all day.
