The Blue Chicken Project
Someday, when I have the space, I'd love to breed an ALL-BLUE chicken! I'd like it to have blue (and splash and black) feathers, black/grey skin and bones, turquoise earlobes, blue eggs, and blue or black (?) eyes. I'd also like it to have a single comb and a clean head, if possible. I'd probably start by crossing Silkies (preferably single-combed) with Ameraucanas, then perhaps add some Ayam Cemani, South American landraces, and/or blue-eyed individuals.
