I enjoyed reading about how you made the little coop! My favorite part was how you used carpet samples to cover the wire, that was smart! The coop seems less costly than usual because you found for free most of your materials.

I might suggest getting a ramp from the bench to the floor, jumping from places even of that height isn’t the best for chickens’ feet and legs.
