Nice article on foot wrapping with great photos! I have found that 3m makes a waterproof medical tape that is thin and foam like. It really works well to tape the tag end! It will not come loose!

Looks interesting! It really should work great in the summer to keep water cool with added ice or frozen bottles of water and should keep water from freezing in the winter. I think I will make one and give it a try!
