Excellent photo diary. Thanks for explaining your yard and how your needs drove the design.

Liked a few ideas I have not seen before. First, building the walls, then assembling like a modular home. Helpful if you can't build on site. Second, recommendation to shop at a Habitat for Humanity ReStore for materials. If you're lucky enough to have one nearby, it's worth checking out. Well done!

Interesting to see a few ideas for repurposing materials for a coop, but there's no narrative.

Great to see how the author used a prefab shed to make a coop. He was lucky to find one with egg boxes, so there's no "how to" for those. Would have been helpful to space out the instructions with photos for an easier read. Also, I'd like to know more about building the run.

Useful article about what not to do--I appreciate the author's honesty. If you're hiring a builder, be sure they have professional plans.

Enjoyed seeing an unusual, but practical, design. It gave me a few ideas. It would be lovely to have the plans available.

Excellent read if you're high on ambition, but have limited carpentry skills. You'll be inspired, even if your project is more modest.

Thank you for an eloquent essay about the chicken keeping journey! I'm experiencing much of what you describe, and now have the "grammar" to help me along.
