Very informative laced with a great sense of humor. My personal favorite is the first one. I follow Chicken Math 101 and as a result, always have room for one more, LOL.

Extremely well planned and executed with careful thought given to the comfort and welfare of the chickens, as well as ease of cleaning and maintenance. If I was a chicken, I would apply to move in immediately!

This is The Best of the Best. I have read this so many times over the years, it never ceases to cheer me up, and I've shared with countless people. Most recently, I shared this with peeps from My Pet Chicken. The folks there are so awesome, they are great to chat and share stories with, AND, love chickens for the fabulous sentient beings that they are!

I would like to add one more proof:

If the weight of the chicken is what I call feather or fly-weight, the chicken does not count. I weigh my chickens by picking them up and it's quite an accurate method LOL! I have several little Serama bantams who are literally tiny puffs of air. Since they do not register on my "weight" scale, they therefore cannot take up any space, and therefore do not count towards my chicken count. So, out of my 9 chickens, 2 Seramas as fly-weight, so I actually only have 7! On a day when my weight scale is not functioning properly, that number can easily register much lower.

I believe you are correct, I don't see how a weightless chicken could count, that would break the universe. Proceed to buy more chickens!!!
