Looks great, I love the lights at night my future goal is to learn how to build something being a housewife its hard to get the time and especially when you dont get paid but things must be prioritized so my future goal learn to build with wood. Great job on the build!

Run-down pony barn to Chicken Coop during a Pandemic Lockdown
I love this design. I like that its compact vs the going super long with a run. I wonder if you used a metal roof could you collect rainwater and make it a self filling system? 
I am looking at building my first coop and as a former hog farmer, the less work I have to do later is worth the work I do now.

We have running water to the coop and run, so we didn’t consider that but I am sure it could be done.

The roof has a ridge vent, but the entire “attic area” is completely separate from the coop and run and is just a storage area, pretty much wasted space. I would have preferred to include it in the coop and run but the orientation of the roof was not conducive for that layout. We use thermocubes and heating plates inside the coop and a heating cable under the nest boxes to prevent frozen water and frozen eggs without raising the temperature too much, our girls are quite cold hardy in fact. We do not use bedding in the nest boxes, our roll away paint trays are lined with artificial grass washable mats for padding and easy cleaning.
