Love the see don't touch way to introduce. Some of My smaller ones got loose and into the older chicks area. All the older chicks are dark colored right away the big ones weemed to peck the California Whites on top of the head the little ones tried to run away.Thankfully I caught it and got Them out.going to move KINDLE_CAMERA_1554067122000.jpg Everyone into the meet and greet area this week.

WOW!! I do believe animals grieve. My dog turned 2 Dec31 He never knew My Husband or Nephew .My Husband passed in 2013 :My Newphew DIDN't live around here. But every time My "Shadow"gets out of the yard He goes straight to the Cemetery and lays between Their graves and I have to go pick Him up and carry Him home.Seems like this happens close to when I'm feeling depressed. received_2389963417882797.jpeg

When browsing I saw you heatpad . . I have a Huge Brooder in my Garage but We are suppose to get snow this weekend . I"m
gone the biggest part of the daytime and scared of those heatlamps in my house ,Also not a fan of the smell . The last time I had chicks this young was 5 years ago and it was late March .I kept them in the house in a large tote with a 100 watt bulb . But When I saw the "heatpad mom" I had to make on . needless to say .My chicks love it . Thanks
for sharing ,
