I have found Brabanters to be a very friendly breed as well as an excellent egg layer. However, they can be flighty unless handled regularly and are somewhat difficult to really tame. They are active foragers, and are not as vulnerable to predators while ranging as many other crested fowl are. Their crest is tight and points forward, which does not block their vision. Along with their crest they have muffs and a beard. {I would like to thank HandH Poultry for providing info for this page} | ||||
