THE STORY OF BUCKWILD CHICKENS, Inspired by B.Y.C..
After searching the Webb and reading through countless forums eventually I always ended up back to this site full of WonderfulL People, Awsome ideas, Great Communication, Beautiful Pictures, and TONS of Very Useful knowledge and Facts... After I spent most of Winter contemplating the idea of getting back into chickens, I quickly found myself fully infected with CHICKEN FEVER!! By February all of my talk about Chickens only spread the fever to a friend of mine, and another, and another.. Suddenly, I found a partner to take on this huge Chicken Addiction with me... We both spent many, many restless evening's at our homes sifting through this website and all of it's great info trying to find all of the Best Ideas we thought would work the best for us.. After much debate in a very small amount of time, everything we came across and had learned, was Quickly put into action..
We began on February 17th 2011, With our first purchase of 22 baby chickens, Some full size telephone poles, and 18 sheets of 5/8 osb, and an Old dog pen from 20 years ago in my back yard that was totally overgrown with brush..
