I live in western Kentucky and I have just started getting into the chicken thing. My babies were hatched on Wednesday, April 23,2008 and I got them Friday, April 25, 2008. They had extras that weren't picked up and how could anyone say no to those faces, not me, so I got an additional 7 more chicks and have no clue what they are. One of them appears sexed (??) and she said one was a white so and so, I forgot. I was so excited to get them after a month and a half, that I really wasn't paying attention to her and just looked in amazement at my new babies.
All are doing well and I had to adjust the light a few times as they were all huddling together under it. I think I have it right because now they go under the light for a while and then back to eating and frolicking!
