Chicken Tractor'
Here is our first coop, my husband felt the chicken tractor was the best way to keep the chickens happy
and our yard will be 'turned over' a little bit at a time.
He used a basic coop design and we saw a few at the feedstore.
He put wheels on it from Harbor Freight Tools (they have all different sizes of wheels there)
He put shingles from a project he did last year on the roof.
There are 3 nesting boxes inside, we added the red light to keep them from pecking one another.
Since he works full time and does have other projects he took his time it took 2 months to put it together.
Right now we have 2 Australorps and 2 Barred pullets that we got at the feedstore in the next town.
He is starting a garden too so we are very urban farmers.
