The chicks arrived Sept. 17/10. Six, day old, Lohmann hens - my first little flock since I was a kid. We live north of Peterborough, Ontario. The coop is finished, aside for a few details. The inside dimensions are 7' x 6.5' and 5.5' tall or so. There is one outside run, with roof, hardware cloth covered, 6' x 28'. The coop was built then placed inside this shed, picture below, as retro fitting the shed would have been too difficult. Its over 100 years old, a little crooked, and needing lots of love. The coop is fully insulated, protected and ready just in time for our ladies.
