The Urban City Girls

Hi everyone! I thought I should just make a chicken page to show off my chickens! It all started about 2 years ago where our friends got chickens. We saw them and finally decided to get some of our own. They are all grown up now. I did havw ten, but It was to much so I rehomed 6. So then it was down to four. But then I found a new friend to add. Enough with me jabbering and let me introduce them:

This is Bonnie, a Rhode Island Red. She was more layed back as she was a chick, and that stills shows today. She is one of the nicer chickens I have and she loves to forage around with the others.

This is Betty, a Rhode Island Red. She has always been a curious girl. Trying to sneak a treat whenever she could. She is the one who always has to be right there! Sometime though, she can be to protective of her coop and peck you!

This is Daisey, a Wheaten Ameracuna she is the friendliest of all my chickens, and always has been. On the ride home from the hatchery I had to hold her or else she would SCREAM, and then she would fall alseep in my hands. She still today, she follows me around, makeing sure everything is "A" okay!

This Is Dorey, a Millie Fluer Bearded D'uccle Bantam. She is more skittish but she likes to hangout with the other bantams and go with the flow. She loves to follow the other bantams because sometimes I think she wouldnt know what to do. She loves to lay me awesome light tinted eggs, about every other day!

This is Agnis, a Buff Silkie. She is my newest addition to my chicken addiction! She has a hard time fitting in with eerybody. And she likes to wonder off from the flock. So I hae to keep her in a seprate part. She will be getting a new silkie friend very soon though!

Well those are my chickens girls! They are such a great flock! And they give me the best tasteing eggs on earth! I plan on to be getting more chickens this spring! :) If you have any comments you can PM me or comment below!

Update: Here they are my new 2013 Chick Batch! It seems like I'm doing more work for this batch of chicks for some reason, and I'm not new to chicks! Haha.

Let me introduce them first: Cora a Buff Orpington, Claudia a Cuckoo Maran, Connie a Delaware, and Cordelia a Salmon Faverolle!
