I would recommend Buff Orps, these are extremely calm and placid animals! It is extremely hard to ruffle their feathers, but beware, it can be done. Another sweet cuddly breed is the Delawares! They are not only gorgeous, they love to be cuddled! It is too adorable! All hens from these breeds cannot be beat!
