This is a very well-written article. I was doing research for my son's 4-H project on eggs and found it very helpful to identify common issues with eggs. The author did a great job with the article and the video was very interesting. We will take this knowledge and share with the 4-H group.
Very helpful info! Im new to ducks and your info explained a few issues I've seen. My pekin has only been laying since Tuesday. Double yolk in one and several soft shells. I now have a good idea of which direction to go. Thank you again.
A great help, thanks. I have a hen that lays two eggs a day, one 'normal' in the morning, one without a shell in the evening, which she struggles with, poor thing. Has anyone else had this?
