Nice job. Good progression of build photos. I built one of these last year and love it. Best coop ever. The only thing I would suggest is beefing up the header and framing around the upper windows. Those should be at least a doubled up header because it supports the roof load too. If not in a heavy snow area you'll be fine.

I think you did a fantastic job with your article. Great detail w/o detailing me to death. I absolutely enjoyed the story and photos of your build. I love the style and thoughtfulness of ventilation, shutters, nesting boxes, roosts, material use... all the helpers!!! It will weather well and will give you many, many, many years of efficient, quality, safe and comfortable use. I also look forward to seeing the finished outside photos when you can.
