Hello Everyone! I am a new mother to 16 baby chicks. They just arrived this morning. We picked them up at the post office at 7:30 this morning and haven't stopped since. Wow! Who knew something so small can be so much work. We have them in our kitchen in a hutch we bought from Tractor Supply. I did not intend on having chickens in my house, but just my luck it's supposed to be in the low 30's tonight so.....
Also, we got two bunnies for Easter and there also in the house!!! Add all this to three dogs, which aren't in the house, and three kids which we let in sometimes
and we have quite a lot going on. This is our first experience with chickens, so I have a lot to learn!!! We are building the coop and run this weekend and adding a suite for the new rabbits nearby. Hopefully no varmits will manage to get any of the little fellows. I have posted pictures of our new family members!
