Enfernae (En-fur-nay): Fiery dragons with quick fighting skills, and even quicker tempers. Typically have about 2-8 or no legs, and sometimes have wings. They seethe flames when they’re angry. Like cats, they hate water but will tolerate boiling or very hot water. Feathered Enfernae are common in the subtribes.

Subtribes: Volcano Subtribe (Leader- Chief Blaze)
Aerattl (Air-at-tl): Wind dragons that can fly at higher altitudes than any other dragon, and fly much faster than any of the other tribes. Typically they don’t have legs or wings, or if they do, few. They have light, carefree demeanors, and and are smart thinkers. Feathered or furred Aerattl are common.

Subtribes: N/A
Solosis (So-low-sis): Thick, rocky dragons with tough attitudes. They can burrow through the ground and commonly have about four legs and no wings. They have thick, armored scales, and when they’re angry, they can cause tremors in the ground. Solosis link with a plant upon hatching; if they are happy, the plant thrives. If they are sad or angry, the plant wilts. If the dragon is killed, the plant dies. Rarely (although possible) this can cause caves collapses if the plant grows underground.

Subtribes: Chryssis Subtribe (Leader- King Viridian)
Aquation (A-quay-shon): The sea dragons have webbed talons and are powerful swimmers. Usually they have either 2-4 or no legs. The oceans which these sea dragons live were corrupted with a Virus that caused a madness that makes them attack and/or try to eat any living thing (symptoms are: Red eyes, thinness, irrational behavior, and distractibility). At the beginning of the story, the Monarche and all the Imagos exposed to the waters had been affected.

Being so, Mao knows much of the lands outside his tribe territory. And has a few friends from outside the tribe as well. Though he hasn't seen many of them for a while.

Anything else: Storm is blind in one eye due to an injury she got when she got Into an accident as a pupa. She is a proud regal dragon with a soft side, and is older then the old Enfernae monarch, Ember, by about five years. Been the Monarche for only about two more years then her though.

Bio: Azira was born in a small tribe. Her mother was the chieftess. She spent about a month of her wyrmhood there before famine struck the small tribe. Most of them perished from a lack of food due to prolonged drought. She and the other two survivors were found and taken in by another Enfernae. They were since put through that Enfernae's harsh training with several others that he also took in. The other two from her tribe couldn't handle the training and ran away. She doesn't know what happened to them. She handled it just fine though and seemed to actually enjoy the challenges her master threw at her. She was trained more for spying, and assassination. But she also has the skills of a typical soldier to. (Her tails are prehensile like her hands and can be used in the same ways. She can also walk and run on her back legs, but runs fastest on all four.)
Perso: Azira is a smart calculating young Imago. Like other Enfernae, she has a temper and can be hot headed. But she quickly learned to keep that temper in check when she was quite a bit younger, so she's able to control it. She is excellent at her job and is loyal to a fault. She will follow her orders, even if it meant harming someone she may have liked. (The thing she's got against her muzzle is a mask)

Anything Else: He is Shilah's father and recently became a Royal Guard.
Looks: He is a large dragon with no wings. He is a deep forest green with a large rack of deer antlers with sharb deep blue eyes. He is stalky and muscular with thick scales that all come to a tip. The largest scales start from the bottom of his chin to the tip of his tail with similar scales mirroring them on the top from his nose to his tail tip. Like his daughter, he has a sharp beak, but his is more pronounced. He has two sharp spines over both eyes and on all four elbows. He always has his long sword at his side and a shield on one arm. He usually as a cool look on his face.

Perso: Blaze is a spitfire. He has a sharp tongue and is hot headed. He puts on a tough front but has a soft spot for the younger ones. Though his training is tough on them, he makes sure they get the rest and care they need.
Anything Else: Blaze was born and raised in his subtribe, they call themselves the Volcano Subtribe, because they live deep inside the mouths of the largest volcano. He was taught to be a warrior. Taught to hunt efficiently and respect their prey. He was also taught one thing, that the centipedes were holding souls of their tribemates, and that they needed to be killed to release them. So that's what he does.
He is completely covered by his feathers, from beak to tail tip.

Webbed talons and gills give her the strength she needs to maneuver the powerful currents. She has two rows of webbed fins down her back, and on her tail and two glowing esca poruding from her chin. She is a very strong flier compared to normal Aquations because she was raised by the Aerattl.

Her foster mom is the only parent she has ever known, but when the Virus bagan to spread, she abandon her at a coral reef near the beach for fear that the extra body would give her the illness. Tide had been living in the reef for 2 months before being rescued by two Aerattl; Starshine and Whisp. She’s picked up on doctoring skills from them.

She is cunning and quick-witted, but can’t breath fire. She works for Apollyon, but has had her doubts about him

When Westar was a wyrm, he had no firepower at all. When he became a pupa, something hot was felt under his scales all the time- like it wanted to burst out.
The pupa process usually takes about 3 weeks, but Westar went through his pupa stage in only 4 days. When the thick pupa scales burst off (for him they seemed to melt off), his fire powers were achieved.

About five years after Shamir was hatched, Mira laid another egg but soon after died suddenly of unknown causes, leaving the family sorrowful and with a new wyrm named Rango to take care of.
All went well for a while and the two wyrms grew in both wisdom and stature, and Shamir soon became a pupa. Joshua contracted a terrible disease, and the Enfernae doctors weren't sure they would be able to cure it. They tried their best and he slowly recovered. For a few days he was feeling almost normal again, but much to everyone's astonishment and sadness, was found pale, cold, and completely dead on his bed one morning. The doctors did an autopsy but found nothing.
Shamir and his brother felt lost and anguished at the death of their second parent. They soon after went to live with their uncle Uriah and their cousin (his son) Ephraim. By this time it was clear that the two were not merely ordinary dragons, but were starting to develop special abilities and traits, giving them an advantage over other dragons of their age. Their uncle cautioned them to use their capabilities responsibly and well. Rango however, going out one evening to test his new-found strengths, became too bold and adventurous, and (even though it never was clear what happened to him) did not come home that night and never did again. Shamir could hardly bear the loss of his parents and now his brother. He started to grow gloomy and brooded a lot.
During this time, Ephraim had cracked and become an Imago, fitting him to go and live on his own. Now it was just Shamir and his uncle.
The young dragon grew and was nearing the day when he would crack himself. One day when they were working on the farm together, a piece of metal equipment gashed Uriah on the leg. It soon became infected. The doctors were called and they started treatment immediately. The uncle started to get better and was almost healed when one morning he too was found dead in his bed. He was also examined and no apparent cause of death was found. This was the day that Shamir cracked and became an Imago, and it couldn't have been a worse one. The death of his last living relative (except for his cousin) coupled with the stress of cracking and becoming an Imago turned him dark and bitter, and he sought a reason for all the horrible things that had happened to him.

He picked up and manipulated many younger dragons into working for him along the way, training them to encourage their dark side and to do as he commanded them. Two such dragons were an Enfernae wyrm named Flint, who had the beginnings of a brilliant mind, and a burly, scruffy, no-good city-street roamer of the Solosis tribe named Tank.
By this time, things about Shamir had started to change. His mind, his looks, his personality, and even his voice. So it was that his name changed as well. Shamir he no longer was and never would be again. His name was APOLLYON.

Apollyon knew this and all Aquation's guards and special forces were sitting around doing nothing, as the adversary never came.
Apollyon knew that he could not take the Aquation Watchstone by force, but there were other options. Flint and he developed a deadly water virus that would make the Aquation Imagos go crazy and turn on each other. The plan worked beautifully. The dragons were corrupted, and the stone was got without hindrance.
Now with the combined power of these stones, the dragon realized that he was the most powerful dragon on the continent. His next move is now working towards becoming Monarche of the entire continent of Draconat, taking it by force if necessary, giving him that much more power in his efforts to reach the hidden kingdom.

Apollyon thought to take them by whatever means necessary, hoping to find a way to secure the Mortimauner Watchstone.
Quickly and mysteriously, he took the Aerattl and Solosis Watchstones. The Enfernae Watchstone he got right out from under their noses during Vixen's coronation as monarche. However, the Aquation monarche was expecting it to happen to her next and she was prepared. Very clever and wise, she was seeing what was happening and vowed that it would never happen to her kingdom. Apollyon knew this and all Aquation's guards and special forces were sitting around doing nothing, as the adversary never came.
Apollyon knew that he could not take the Aquation Watchstone by force, but there were other options. Flint and he developed a deadly water virus that would make the Aquation Imagos go crazy and turn on each other. The plan worked beautifully. The dragons were corrupted, and the stone was got without hindrance.
Now with the combined power of these stones, the dragon realized that he was the most powerful dragon on the continent. His next move is now working towards becoming Monarche of the entire continent of Draconat, taking it by force if necessary, giving him that much more power in his efforts to reach the hidden kingdom.
BUT-- one problem. He knows there are those who would stand in his way. One of the largest threats to his movements is a large, powerful Enfernae, the son of Milton. The grandson of Ephraim. The great-grandson of Uriah, and Apollyon's grand-nephew.
His name-- was OCAVO.

Backstory: Just like every other Aquation, she lost everything to the virus. Her home, her mate, her loved ones and friends. The eggs she had layed never hatched, the Virus infected them too soon.
Appearance: She used to be a beautiful teal dragoness, hints of turquoise dotting the scales around her sun yellow eyes. Her wings were glassy and see through, her talons sharp and deadly. Now she’s pale green, her yellow eyes looking like she’d gone mad, which she had. Her talons are dull and splintered and her wings are torn in several places. She’s thin, too thin. Like a walking skeleton. She has gills as well (pic below is her before the virus).

I will draw his adult form when I have the time, but he will be very deer/fox like, with the colors of a red fox but with black deer antlers, feathered wings (6 of them), sharp, birdlike talons on his front feet and fox like feet in back, his tail is very interesting (all in all, to get a good idea of how he looks you’ll have to wait for a drawing lol)
Mate: Currently a pupa but possibly amethyst when they’re old enough
Anything Else: He has no parents and essentially cares for himself, others don’t like his physical appearance (for now bc he’s a pupa) so he’s often left alone, he has a soft spot for all of nature but especially red foxes, his favorite plant is snap dragons (I am very impatient to get him out of his pupa shell lol).
