I live on a dairy farm with my husband and two boys ages 19 and 14. Our oldest son is a freshman at Delaware Valley College where he is studying Agribusiness. Our younger son is a freshman in high school. We have 100 cows and farm just under 200 acres. We are the 7th generation to be farming the same land. My husband grows all of the crops we feed to our cows. We grow corn, soybeans, alfalfa, grass hay and barley and rye. We also rent additional acres to make grass hay. I help with the morning and afternoon milking and feed all the calves.
I have 4 Buff Orpington hens, 4 Rhode Island Reds and a Pekin duck.
