In Northern Ohio wondering if anyone one else was working for desired egg color. This hen died after laying a few eggs. Blue with green speckles. Blue ameraucana that was black with a welsummer hen. Others in cross laid green eggs. Currently have welsummer roo with 3 ameraucana hens. Just kinda tinkering around with it. Have some leghorn blood to mix in as well thinking it will help dilute the green. Novice hobby but if other are doing it would be nice to purchase or trade if in surrounding states.
