My Ladies
I built their A frame tractor for about $180 in lumber and hardware, with only a little scrap wood. Most of the wood was new. it was a design from Im4Eggcellence with a little modification.
I got the Ladies when they were just under a year. This was my first time raising chickens so I didn't want to start with chicks if I decided I didn't want to do this, I think I'll keep them!
I lost one of my Cochins to something, I couldn't have just two. So I got a penciled wyandotte a little under a year and a java that was two years old.
Our first egg! Now I'm getting one or two a day. Waiting for them to arrive! They were named before they got home!
