I am new to the backyard chicken world but very excited! I ordered the girls from mypetchicken.com and received them on 2/23/11. I put a mirror in the brood box on day 6 and they were so cute! Here they are in order: (Lola) Buff Orpington, (Matilda) Barred Plymouth Rock, (Henrietta) White Silkie, (Daisy) White Leghorn, (Spikey) Austrolop and (Atilla) Easter Egger.
Week 4 and they got their first outdoor experience
It's Week 8 and they are in their coop. I have 5 pullets but my Black Austrolorp turned out to be a roo.
