Getting Your Chickens!

More of an opinion piece, which isn’t necessarily bad except it’s implied to be authoritative. If the article went into more detail on the instructions provided, it would help with this. That would also help with some of the questions it brings up but doesn’t answer, as already stated in the reviews. Good start.

I have a lot of questions after reading this.
Where do I get show quality chickens from?
Do hatcheries other than McMurray cull male chicks?
How do you know hatcheries cull male chicks?
If you are going to say that do you have proof? Granted, there is a lot I don’t know about a lot of things! But I would like more information.
Where else can I get chicks from?
I’m sorry, but I found this article to be vague with the exception of naming one hatchery.
I considered posting this anonymously. But I think if I am going to give one star & question statements in the article I should use my name.

You could expand on what you're covering here a little bit, and I would go softer on discouraging people from using hatcheries. You've got to consider that some people have no choice but to have chicks shipped to them and cost may also be a consideration.

This statement - "If you want a show quality chicken, you should look for a poultry show near you" is great if you live where there are poultry shows. I'm just suggesting you should list other options, instead of just one. For example, I got mine from a breeder that was 30 minutes away, instead of driving 2.5 hours to a poultry show.

Just be mindful as you write that there are all kinds of people who may read this, from cities to the boonies.

I would keep going on this as it is a good topic!
