Ingredients:
11/2 cups water
1 cup creamed cottage cheese ( cream it in the blender)
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup butter
51/2to6 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 TBLSP sugar
3 tsp salt
2 pkg active dry yeast
1 egg
Cooking Instructions
In medium saucepan, heat first 4 ingredients until very warm(120 to 130 degrees). In a large bowl, blend warm liquid,2cups bread flour, whole wheat flour,salt sugar,yeast and egg at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. By hand or with dough hook stir in remaining flour to form a stiff dough. Knead on floured surface for 2 minutes. Place dough in greased bowl; turn greased side up. Cover with plastic wrap. Place a light dish towel over bowl; let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size, 45 to 60 minutes. Grease two 9x5 or 8x4 inch loaf pans. Punch down dough; divide and shape into 2 loaves. Cover; let rise in warm place. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until deep golden rich brown and sounds hollow when lightly tapped. Imemediately remove from pans;cool. Enjoy! this a a wonderful bread with soups, sandwich or just eating. It is a soft bread.
