lets learn a awsome stradigy i learned here, on BYC! at first i was wondering "what if i took the top of the flock and had it trust me? lots of people told me it was a not-so-good-idea. and to help me, the gave me some awsome stradigys i woud have never thought of (cus im dumb like that lol). im going to say it how i think it should be said, not how the person that gave me the awsome idea said it.
lets work with the flock and make some friends,
just sit in the run a throw some treats or scratch quit a ways out into the run, and just sit there as you watch you birds eat up the stuff you throw out.
the next day, do the same thing, but just throw the treats a little closer to you, watchthem gobble it up.
continue doing so but just evey day, throw the treats alittle closer to you. soon they will be at your door when you go out to feed, butmake sure you never grab at them till they will come up to you, soon you will have little fluff buts jumping in you lap for a good ol treat!
carful, you beautiful eyes and earrings can be super atractive to the chicken, so keep a safe distance but let them feel loved still. also one last thing, let them go if they want go.
