How To Make A Chicken Diaper - A How-To With Pictures

So glad you listed how to MEASURE the chicken. Good instructions
Thank you so much for sharing! I've made my girls aprons, and this has easy directions and lots of pics! I would love to see some of the outfits you make!
Put it on & I really like it!
The rooster is very pleased he's inside instead of in -20*C right now, although I think it's more attention! I like this pattern very much! Thinking of altering it for a pigeon, also the one thing I altered was where you sew the elastic to the back I made it adjustable so different neck widths may fit. I did this by sewing buttons to the front back piece and cutting small holes in the fabric.
This pattern worked wonders! Thanks so much for posting, now I can wait out this cold snap with the girls in the house with relatively less mess.

Where/what are you buttoning the buttons to? I didn't see anywhere where you told us to cut button holes.
This is a very interesting idea. I am sure that some people will find this very useful!
Thank you for sharing your pattern. Can you update to show a photo of a chicken that is wearing one of these diapers?

Not sure where the buttons are attached and it would be helpful to see a photo of a chicken wearing the diaper...other than that, the how-to is easy enough and the cost to make is minor.
