How "We" Correct Splayed Legs on New Chicks.

It's a great method I've heard before but never tried it as I never saw it before. Great photos! Especially the one done who looks a bit mad. ☺️

I have heard people who tried having issues with them falling off though but your explanation to make it fit better would help them had they read this. I have hatched 100s and wound up with two w/ splayed legs thus far and cut a thin strip of vet wrap which did the trick. It's good to have different methods though as every chick can be a new challenge! I'll try yours next time to see! :highfive:

Great advice to fix splayed leg. Good pictures and description.
Good clear article. I've partially failed at this before. The young chap still ended up with a bit of a limp. Something like this might have worked better.

Straight to the point, simple to follow article with good pics. Certainly worth the read.
Great photos. A little more info about how long to leave the brace on and how to set up an isolation brooder would be useful.
