I joined backyardchickens last year...such a great site. I have 18 chickens,
....golden comets. I got them in the mail a day after they were born. My girls lay an egg most every day, usually I get 16 to 18 a day, sometimes i get huge double yolk eggs. Brown egg layers. They started laying when they were 5 months old. My first egg, I did a double take, I couldn't believe they laid eggs at that age! I also have bunnies.
I just got my silkie chicks. They are sooo cute!
Look forward to talking with everyone! Now I also have 12 EE's from Mt. Healthy Nursery. Pics coming soon!
