So the super high protien isnt as important as people think?

protein for fast growth. Eat your spinach for strong muscles.

Apparently I'm overdoing it on protein... perhaps that's why their poop smells terrible. Then again, their poop always smells terrible I think.

Use more wood chips to absorb the ammonia. My first summer was terrible. Added wood chips everywhere and been much better. Even under the quail cages. The chickens scratch and turn it. It is worse when it rains and everything gets wet. Joel Salatin's carbonaceous diaper.

I really do have zero stink in my cages.
I swear by dirt/fake deep litter method.
