My first building project was this coop. I bought the plans because I was "chicken" to try on my own, but next time would do it on my own. I really enjoyed building this- using all those tools I never knew about, and learning how to use them.
I just added the extra door below to make it easier to feed and water. I also added some left over Lexan around the feed area so the rains will not wet it.
I hatched three white silkies, then two partridge silkies. I only have one white one and two partridge now. I am sure one is a roo, but the other two are still a mystery.
