Breed Temperament: Typically active fowl, docile and rather curious. Very alert to their surroundings and do not mind being handled. They bear confinement well. Can be bullies to younger chicks but relatively gentle with other birds that are grown. Some individuals can be very flighty but the breed should be very docile.
Young birds may spar regularly (even pullets will sometimes spar with cockerels) but as they age sparring typically subsides. It is not usually so bad that they have injuries.
