Okay, I've never made a web page, much less a chicken coop, in my life so here goes! Wish me luck 
I have ordered my Barnevelder eggs and they should be in sometime soon. In the mean time, I have invited over some girl friends for a "hen party" (no roosters allowed) and we started construction on our coop.
Here's what we have so far:
We started by making the 4'x6' base. The coop will sit down into this base and I'll caulk around the edges to keep out the water

While the adults worked with the power tools, I have our younger ladies making the brooders. One is an old cooler (wrapped in duct tape since the outer shell was damaged) and the other is an old dog crate that I had them line with wire.
