In the begining- 13 very fuzzy 2 day old chicks
After spending the first 3 weeks of life in the small warm brooder (Rubbermaid tote and brooder light)- we graduated to an unused crib covered with a plastic mesh. Great use for an unused worn piece of furniture- and gave them the space they needed!
