Mine is positioned in the shade. We have a similar stack of bricks behind the old shed. Congratulations that is a well made coop

I always like to see how members build with re-purposed materials so good job with that! I'd love to have a pile of bricks like you do (they wouldn't last me long). Thanks for sharing your coop!

This is a pretty basic set-up for areas with mild-ish winters. There aren't a lot of instructions, but the descriptions given and the loads of pictures would make it an easy coop to recreate. I would never have thought to use cement sheeting, but it makes a lot of sense for predator proofing. Very nicely done!
